Which payment gateway does Lernio use?
Lernio has Razorpay, a very popular payment gateway. Its among the best payment gateways available.
How does the fee funds get transferred to the school account?
Once the transaction is completed, the funds automatically get transferred to the school account, registered with us, within 3 days (that is T+2 days).
How long does it take for the fee funds to show up in the school account?
Normally it takes T+2 business days. That on the 2nd business day after the transaction day.
How do you ensure security?
The Lernio servers are located on Amazon AWS servers and Lernio uses Razorpay which is a highly secure payment gateway with the best security measures.
Any additional charges for fee collection?
Only the gateway transaction charges as per the mode of payment. These charges may be borne by the parent (payer) or the school (payee) as per the setting indicated by the school at time of setup.
What are the requirements to setup Lernio fee for a school?
The school needs to be onboarded onto Razorpay, wherein school account details and documents regarding the legal entity of the school (trust, society, etc.) need to be submitted. Once done the payment gateway setup is activated for the school and integrated into Lernio.
Do we need to give our bank account details to parents?
No, the school does not need to give bank account details to parents. It needs to submit bank account details only on the Razorpay platform at the time of the gateway account setup for Lernio.
