Lernio Edutech Pvt. Ltd. (“Lernio”) operates the Lernio mobile application (the “Service”).
This page informs User’s of Lernio’s policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when the User uses the Service.
ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
If registration is requested, Users agree to provide accurate and complete registration information. While using the Service, Lernio may ask Users to provide Lernio with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify Users. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, User’s email address, name, phone number, postal address, other information (“Personal Information”). Upon registration on Lernio, Users are assigned a login ID and password that will enable Users to access Lernio. Users shall take reasonable precautions to protect against theft, loss or fraudulent use of such IDs and passwords, and Users are solely responsible for any losses arising from another party’s use of such IDs and passwords, either with or without User’s knowledge.
DATA INTEGRITY AND DATA PROTECTION
Lernio does not share, sell or rent Users personally identifiable information to third parties. Lernio will not share or distribute any User informations with third parties without the consent of the User except in compliance with the law or with Court’s order.
Lernio has adopted reasonable industry standard practices to ensure that there are adequate safeguards and techniques to protect the data of the User against any unauthorized or unlawful disclosure. Lernio will not store, copy, disclose or use the data of the User except as necessary for the performance by Lernio of its obligations under this Agreement.
Lernio employs physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information Lernio receives from users from any unauthorized disclosure. In addition, if User suspects unauthorized access to its information, it is User’s responsibility to contact Lernio immediately. Lernio will never ask User to divulge its password in written or electronic communications. The security of User’s Personal Information is important to Lernio but no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, Lernio will always make reasonable efforts to ensure the security of the data provided on Lernio. However, Lernio cannot guarantee the security of User account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of User information at any time.
When Users access the Service by or through a mobile device, Lernio may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device Users use, User’s mobile device unique ID, the IP address of User’s mobile device, User’s mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser Users use and other statistics (“Log Data”).
In addition, Lernio may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase the Service’s functionality. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.
Lernio may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on Lernio’s behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist Lernio in analyzing the use of the Service.
These third parties have access to Users Personal Information only to perform these tasks on Lernio’s behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Lernio may use User’s Personal Information to contact User with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to the User. User may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from Lernio by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email Lernio sends.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
Lernio will disclose User’s Personal Information where required to do so by law or as per court’s order or if Lernio believes that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of the Service.
User’s information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of User’s state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from User’s jurisdiction.
If Users are located outside India and choose to provide information to Lernio, please note that Lernio transfers the information, including Personal Information, to India and process it there.
